2012 Computer Operator Kick-Off Meeting

The 2012 Computer Operator Kick-Off Meeting is now scheduled.
When: Sunday May 20th
Time: 5:00-6:00pm
Where: International Country Club
Who should attend?
All computer operators who will be running computer operations during dual meets. This is an important meeting as we will cover important topics including changes to meet set ups, how to handle an override of the order of finish and we will ensure all clubs have the new Meet Manager software upgrade. Please make every effort to attend.
Team Reps, coaches and anyone else that has an interest is also welcome to join us.
2012 Officials Training Scheduled

2012 Officials Training is scheduled for Sunday, May 20, 2012 from 10am to noon at Trump National.
We encourage everyone who needs the training to attend if possible. If scheduling conflicts do not permit in person attendance, for re-certification information, please contact Chris Barton (cbarton@Deloitte.com), DCCL Head of Officials, to arrange to take the required test in advance of June 16, 2012 (first season dual meet).

Back by popular demand, we will be offering a 'deep-dive' training session for the Hy-Tek software again this year. This session is for the experienced and inexperienced alike. We will simulate creating a meet, importing entries, creating labels, seeding events, creating meet programs and entering results. This is a very hands on session and all attendees should bring their team laptops to ensure they get the full experience.

The DCCL Board approved a change to the league divisions at the February board meeting. There will be three divisions, Red, White and Blue.
Red Division teams include Springfield Golf and Country Club, Mount Vernon Country Club, Evergreen Country Club and Mount Vernon Yacht Club.
White Division teams include Country Club of Fairfax, Hidden Creek Country Club and International Country Club.
Blue Division teams include Riverbend Golf and Country Club, Westwood Country Club and Trump National Golf Club.
Family-friendly country club in Fairfax, VA is looking for an energetic and enthusiastic assistant swim coach. Season is Memorial Day till end of July. Please note the dates. Hours are 4:30-7 pm until public school gets out and then 7:45-11:30 am and 5-6 pm for the remainder of the season. Pep rallies are Friday nights and most meets are on Saturday morning. Must have first aid, cpr and lifeguarding. Very competitive pay. Please contact Tom at tom_verdin@yahoo.com.
